Scottish Quilt Championships, Edinburgh 2011

I have just spent a lovely afternoon at the Scottish Quilt Championships with my crafty friend Claudia who was exhibiting a piece she made.

 Here are a couple of others that caught my eye...

There were a lot of Oriental-inspired designs and fabrics in the quilts we saw.  I particularly like the one below that used traditional imagery and design.  The use of olive greens, and dusky pinks and blues gave it a very contemporary look.
